ABOUT ME
Eliot Sherman is an Assistant Professor of Organisational Behaviour at London Business School. Professor Sherman received his Ph.D. from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. His research primarily examines gender inequality in the workplace, with an emphasis on testing feasible organizational solutions using field experiments. An additional stream of work assesses intrapreneurship and job mobility. His work has been published in leading sociology and management journals, including the American Journal of Sociology, Management Science, and Organization Science.
Professor Sherman has taught the "Paths to Power" elective at London Business School since 2016 and has taught in executive education programs since 2018. He has also designed and delivered a Ph.D. seminar on labor markets and careers, with a focus on academic writing.
Prior to receiving his Ph.D., Professor Sherman worked as an analyst for the Aon Corporation in Chicago. He also spent three years as a Research Associate at Harvard Business School, where he co-authored 24 cases.
